Xylene MSDS Download

Xylene is an organic substance that is toxic to blood, nervous system, kidney and liver. Xylene is flammable liquid with flash point 25oC (closed cup). It can be explosive in the form of vapor when is exposed to open flame, spark or heat.

Special safety precautions shall be given in case of its handling and storage. All ignition and heat sources have to be kept away from xylene storage. MSDS Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4)

Potassium permanganate (KMnO4) is commonly found in chemical plant, especially in laboratory. Potassium permanganate is one of the most common chemical reagents for analysis purposes.

msds-kmn04It is a strong oxidizer, which is also used in the field of disinfectant, water treatment, biomedical and production of organic substances like ascorbic acid and saccharin.

It is non-flammable material. However, as a strong oxidizer, potassium permanganate can cause an explosion when contacts with oxidizable materials. (more…)

Managing many chemicals inside chemical plant is a regular job for safety officers, safety representatives or safety in charges. It means that at the same time they have to manage many MSDS.

Free Sources of MSDS Download

We have to provide MSDS for all hazardous chemicals inside the plant sites. The MSDS is published by the manufacturers and or distribute through distributors. However, in actual operation sometimes it is hard to get the MSDS and even some of chemicals which we use coming without MSDS. In this case, we have to seek MSDS for those chemicals by ourselves.

One thing that we should consider is we should get the material safety data sheet with chemical composition exactly same with the chemicals we use or at least has close chemical ingredients.   (more…)
