It is actually easy to remember how to use portable fire extinguishers effectively. Just remember the acronym “PASS”. PASS stands for Pull, Aim, Squeeze and Sweep. And this simple procedure is already put on every fire extinguisher tube.

Portable fire extinguisher is the first line defense against small fire. We can easily recognize its appearance while we walk through the plant site or building inside it. But the question is “Can those fire extinguishers put out any type of fire?”
